This is a high-gradeĀ lightweight titaniumĀ system, with an option of round orĀ hexagonalĀ carbon-fiber and titaniumĀ tailpipesĀ (the choice of one is required for installation and sold separately). Complex parts, such as theĀ X-connectionĀ and specially designed collectors, are cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The exhaust system has no exhaust valves, and the main exhaust tubes have an increased diameter. Alongside acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes, a special resonator, and the X-connection, which allows gases from both sides of the engine to mix, these elements create a refined Akrapovič sound experience in all drive modes, delivering a deep andĀ sporty tone.Ā An additional damping element is added to the link pipe, which enhances the sound quality and comfort of the Akrapovič exhaust, while offering a unique sound experience. Power gains ofĀ 8.5 kW (11.5 hp)Ā at 6,150 rpm and torque increases ofĀ 15.6 NmĀ at 2,550 rpm have been recorded when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust. This exhaust system isĀ 41.1% (15.44 kg)Ā lighter than the standard stock version.

It has been developed for cars without gasoline particulate filters. The installation is a simple plug-and-play operation, with no remapping needed.
